La Jolla Shores Beach Wave

La Jolla Shores Beach is the location where a few different companies do Sea Kayak rentals and sea Kayak Tours out around the Ocean in La Jolla. This beach also has lots of underwater marine life making it popular with divers and all others who use the beach. For a few weeks in August leopard sharks about 3 or 4 feet long come close to shore and people can put on goggles to take a underwater look at them. A great white shark was spotted 2 times in one day, in summer 2010, it turned around and was not seen again. In the beginning of summer 2010 around mid July there was a larger than normal amount of stingrays around the beach and so for a couple days there were people soaking their feet in hot water at the Lifeguard station. La Jolla Shores Beach is one of the best beaches in the San Diego, and La Jolla area.
