Point Loma in San Diego has some things to see and do. Shelter Island in Point Loma is a great place to take a walk, it is located on the San Diego Bay so there is plenty to look at while walking. The Cabrillo National Monument is located approx 5 miles from shelter island. At the Monument there are views of the City, Bay and Ocean, lots of trails to walk on, and a historic lighthouse.
